The Senate will take up the Great American Outdoors Act (GAOA) when it resumes work in June. This landmark legislation would fully fund the Land and Water Conservation Fund, as well as address the $20 billion maintenance backlog on America's public lands and waters, an important part of Americans getting outdoors to RV, camp and support local communities.

Wayne Purchase, a former ARVC Board Member, passed away on May 15, 2020 at 59 years old.

Purchase, was the proud co-owner/operator of Mio Pine Acres Campground in Mio, Mich. for several years, served on the ARVC Board Directors and was the executive director of ARVC Michigan.

He will be greatly missed by the ARVC community and his family is in our thoughts.
