OHCE officially began Monday evening with the Welcome Reception sponsored by NewBook, Takeaway Tours and NFPA 1194 Certification. View highlights of the day, including a lovely evening reception on the terrace outside in Knoxville with country artist Josh Martin playing for the crowd. Paula Horwitz, ARVC's education and events director, dishes on some of the highlights of the evening.
Welcome Desk Open: 7 a.m.-12 p.m., 1-5 p.m.
Check in for conference and get any questions you have answered by ARVC staff.

Opening General Session : Ballroom E, 8-9 a.m.
Join us for a fun and interactive Opening General Session where you will witness first-hand, how we truly are “stronger together!” Kyle Sanders, a two-time Big Ten champion in football (as a walk-on), has a compelling story of goal setting, perseverance and teamwork to tell. A lucky team in the audience will join Kyle on stage for a valuable teambuilding activity that will have everyone (on stage and in the audience) fully engaged for the entire hour! Through all the fun and laughter, you’ll take away valuable lessons you can implement with your team as soon as you get home.
Paws for a Break: 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m.
ARVC and Jamestown Advanced Products have united to bring an interactive dog run into the Knoxville Convention Center, promising to give attendees at OHCE the chance to “Paws for a Break” and cuddle with dogs from local no-kill animal shelters. Come by and relax by say hello to some four-legged friends.
