Sun God Festival Update
Dear Tritons,
Due to the rapidly evolving situation around Covid-19 and in furtherance of the guidelines and recommendations of local, state, and national officials, as well as UC San Diego Campus guidelines and the Center for Disease and Control (CDC) recommendations, the Sun God Festival 2020 has been cancelled. Although we make this announcement with a heavy heart, we believe this is in the best interest of the health and safety of the UC San Diego community.

The student staff at the Associated Students Office of Concerts and Events (ASCE) are currently working with other student leaders and administrators to address the concerns of the student body. We appreciate everyone’s patience as we navigate through these discussions. There will be more information to come soon from official Associated Students channels.

While working to have students’ voices heard regarding Sun God, ASCE is also currently developing alternative programming for Spring Quarter 2020. ASCE continues to strive towards building a sense of community through standout programming for all UC San Diego students and we would love to hear from you on what events we should have. Take our Spring Alternative Programming survey at and tell us what events you would like to see next quarter.

Further updates will continue to be posted on our AS and ASCE pages so make sure to keep on the lookout for those announcements. If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to leave a message for the Sr. Associate Vice President of ASCE through the survey link

See you soon, Tritons.
