  • Great food, drinks, entertainment and opportunities to meet new faces and renew friendships -- and your guests are welcome to join for all meals and programming
  • CME and presentations on the hottest topics in medicine
  • Ample free time around conference events for you and your family to enjoy the gorgeous fall landscape in Breckenridge
  • Optional small group activities to hike, sightsee, wine and dine
  • FREE childcare for kids 12 and under (register in advance)
  • A celebration of our new leadership: incoming CMS President Kim Warner, MD, an ob-gyn with Colorado Permanente Medical Group, and outgoing CMS President Omar Mubarak, MD, MBA, a vascular surgeon and practice owner of Vascular Institute of the Rockies
  • Most important, this special event is an opportunity for CMS to get to know you better and hear your thoughts on how we can best support you and physicians in Colorado.

Colorado physicians can help MHMS raise money for Blackwood scholarship

The Mile High Medical Society (MHMS), with support from the Colorado Medical Society, asks physicians to donate to the Charles J. Blackwood, MD, Endowed Memorial Scholarship Fund at the University of Colorado School of Medicine (CUSOM). The scholarship is named for the late Charles J. Blackwood, MD, who in 1947 became the first African American graduate of CUSOM, and aims to help develop a more diverse, inclusive health care workforce for Colorado's underserved communities. MHMS is working toward a milestone match and must raise a significant sum before June 30, 2024. Find more information and donate online here.
