Dear ASCA Members,
On behalf of your ASCA Board of Directors, we are pleased to announce that, starting July 2026, undergraduate and master’s students will be able to join ASCA for free.
This elimination of membership dues represents a commitment to the growth and development of the student conduct profession by providing students early in their professional careers an opportunity to learn more about the field of student conduct administration through both theoretical and practical applications. This is also in line with our Association’s values around accessibility and access. We will also maintain the current membership rate for doctoral students at an affordable $50 per year.
Starting April 1, ASCA will pause accepting new applications from undergraduate and master’s students to prepare for the launch of the free membership application later this summer. Over the next five years, the Board will periodically review membership and participation data from this initiative to assess its impact and success.
We will share updates later this year when the new student membership application opens. The ASCA Board of Directors is excited about the opportunity to welcome more future conduct professionals into ASCA and hope you will encourage your students to join this fall.
Sincerely,
|
