Industry Event Participation
ASCCA was excited to participate in two industry events in the month of March, the ATI Super Conference on March 18 in Carlsbad, CA and the World PAC STX event on March 24-25 in Orlando, FL. Both events were highly informative educational opportunities for the industry. ASCCA was able to promote to attendees our new Introductory Membership and wealth of benefits membership has to offer.
Each of these events provides ASCCA an opportunity grow our membership base to fulfill our purpose to Elevate and Unite Automotive Professionals, and Give Them Voice.

Featuring Corporate Partner
Ryan Burton, Leads Near Me®
Ryan Burton is a 32-year marketing veteran and is the Founder and CEO of Leads Near Me®. He got his start in radio and print marketing, moved on to digital marketing in the mid-2000s, and then six years ago founded Leads Near Me®. Leads Near Me® has seen excellent growth, especially in the auto repair industry. So much so, that they service 100s of auto repair shops in 43 states in the US, and Canada as well!
Rather than focus on the hard sell, Ryan runs Leads Near Me® with a more customer service-oriented attitude. Leads Near Me® offers 24/7/365 customer support and maintains new business through referrals. Ryan also sees his company as a small business, so he empathizes with auto repair shops, many of which are also small businesses. He is delighted to align his brand with an organization like the ASCCA that looks out for small business owners!
Ryan is looking forward to coming out to California with his daughter, Sienna, at the end of April to host the Picnic of the Century at the Lafayette Reservoir!

Attached is the latest legislative update. There are so many catalytic converter theft bills (12 bills so far) that at some point the legislature will most likely consolidate bills to only a couple of measures.
Bills are starting to be scheduled for first committee hearing. We will continue to monitor and report.

ADA website compliance and web accessibility are two terms that are used interchangeably but they are distinct from one another.
