ASCCA Annual Training Conference - Thank you for Attending!

The 4th Annual ASCCA Training Conference was held on September 12-14 at the Embassy Suites by Hilton on the San Francisco Airport Waterfront. Nearly 150 attendees enjoyed 2 days of high-level training. Classes were offered on topics as varied as “Creating High-Performance Teams”, “Strategies to Attract Ideal Customers and Outshine Competition”, and “The AI-Driven Customer: How Artificial Intelligence is Changing the Way People Find and Choose”. Separate tracks were offered on technical topics as well as management. The feedback received on the sessions has been outstanding!

Attendees were also able to meet with various exhibitors offering services and products benefiting shops and their teams.

Maylan Newton, long-time supporter of ASCCA and ASCEF, was recognized during Saturday’s lunch as the newest member of the Hall of Fame. Attendees and members are encouraged to honor Maylan through a donation to an ASCEF scholarship fund.

President Kusa recognized Julio Campos and Daniel Costa with special awards to thank them for their contributions to both ASCCA and the industry as a whole.

Attendees had a fun time on Saturday evening, enjoying table games and social time. It was a beautiful evening, and many attendees spent time outside watching the San Francisco Bay.

During the meeting of the Council of Representatives, the slate of candidates for the 2026 Board of Directors was approved. Watch for an announcement on the ASCCA’s Executive Leadership!

The 2026 Annual Training Conference will take place September 11-13 at the Hilton Irvine/Orange County Airport in Irvine. The Hilton hosted the Annual Training Conference in 2024 and provides a fantastic location for an even bigger and better event!
