Ask almost any ASCCA leader what first ignited their passion for ASCCA, and chances are they’ll tell you it was the first time they attended Team Weekend. ASCCA had a chance to speak with Tere Hardin, one of the sales managers for Shop-Ware. Tere has been in the automotive world since 1990 and has helped hundreds of shops move toward more modern operations using computers & software. He first learned of the ASCCA when he was working with ROWriter and led efforts to sponsor and support ASCCA shops ever since.
Tere's desire to help other shop owners elevate their business appears to be in line with that of his current CEO. As most of you likely already know, Shop-Ware's CEO is also the ASCCA's current president, Carolyn Coquillette. Tere praised her leadership, "As a shop owner in the Bay Area, she has led the best in the industry to improve year over year."
When asked What’s next or new for Shop-Ware? Tere responded, "Many Things! Shop-Ware has ramped up production when others are cutting back. Our 2023 schedule is filled with innovative solutions to make the workflow more mobile, efficient & automated." Shop-Ware is described on their website as, "A best-in-class team delivering best-in-class product...We are accustomed to meeting complicated needs and offering new solutions. Our purpose is to make repair shops stronger." Tere may have summed it up best when he stated, "Our mission is to help shops Fix Cars Faster"

ADA website compliance and web accessibility are two terms that are used interchangeably but they are distinct from one another.
ADA stands for the Americans with Disabilities Act which prohibits discrimination on the basis of disability. Courts are construing Title III of the ADA to mean that websites must be accessible. Thus, with ADA website compliance, we're referring to the law.
