The Transportation Technology Center, Inc. (TTCI), located in Pueblo, is an organization subsidiary of the Association of American Railroads, that was established to support the development and deployment of innovative technologies to increase reliability, safety and efficiency of the railroad industry. Ms. Anna M. Rakoczy is a Principal Investigator at TTCI, where she currently researches the extension of service life of railway bridges using reliability-based criteria. She holds a Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering from University of Nebraska - Lincoln, and M.S. degrees from University of Technology in Poland. She has over 10 years of research and academic experience. Dr. Rakoczy is currently a member of the TRB Standing Committee on Steel Bridges, a member of AREMA Committee 15 and ASCE.
