Dear ASCLD Colleagues,
By now you have received information about the 2020 Census of Publicly Funded Crime Laboratories (CPFFCL) from the Bureau of Justice Statistics (BJS). As stated in the accompanying letter from ASCLD, the data gathered from this survey will help to address the needs in our laboratories. Now I know that we share many surveys with you to gather information, but your participation in the CPFFCL is crucial to painting an accurate picture of the state of forensic service providers.
Now turning toward the Annual Symposium, we are in the final planning stages of the meeting. For those who will be arriving in Boston a few days early, we will be hosting the annual golf outing on Monday, August 23rd at the William J. Devine Golf Course at Franklin Park. Established in 1896, this golf course is the second oldest public course in the nation. If you are interested in taking part, please register on the symposium website. As we approach the meeting, we will be posting “know before you go” information on the symposium website.
Have a terrific week!
