TONIGHT: Back To School Night, Wednesday, September 6th
ASFS Back to School Night is tonight Wednesday, September 6th from 7:00-8:30pm. This is an opportunity for you to learn about the expectations of the grade level and the exciting year the staff has planned for your child. If you have more than one ASFS student, there will be time to visit multiple classrooms.
Please note that Back to School Night will be an in-person event for parents only with no child care offered. We hope to see you there!

Back to School Picnic - This Sunday, September 10th, 4-6pm @ ASFS
Join the ASFS community to welcome our children back to school!
There will be face painting, fun craft activities and a firetruck visit! Plus lots of food options to enjoy, including hamburgers, hotdogs, ice cream and cotton candy! Come meet fellow students and families and enjoy the activities
Help us make it great, by volunteering or donating food!

ASFS School Picture Day is coming on Tuesday, September 12th!
October 24th 2023 is picture retake day!
All students will be photographed for the ASFS yearbook, and you may choose to order a photo package at mylifetouch.com (Picture Day ID: EVTFB2KS2)
- Online ordering will be open 1-2 days after picture day, or you may order once you receive your student(s) photo proof.
- Paper forms will be sent home with students if you prefer to pay by cash/check.
For paper forms only: Please bring your form/payment on picture day, September12th.

Volunteer Application Required

Volunteer Application Link - to ensure the safety of students, staff and visitors, all volunteers must be approved through APS. Please be sure to fill out the application prior to volunteering. Once approved, your application is good for three years.

In addition, Arlington Public Schools requires all parent visitors to be registered with their drivers' licenses in our security system. Please stop by the office to have your license scanned - it takes no more than 90 seconds.
