It has been a great summer! ASG has continued to grow with all of your help and support. There are new faces, new offices and many new projects. I am so happy to be part of a growing company, and all of you are making the difference.
As we continue to expand , more opportunities have presented themselves. We have opened offices in Boston and Northern Virginia. Plus, we also started working in Washington D.C, Maryland, Texas and soon, upstate NY.
With an abundance of new work and staff, it is important to remember who we are. ASG has become a leader in the telecom community because of our elite customer service, hard work, and attention to detail. Our ability to exceed clients’ expectations and needs has made the difference. As a team, if we maintain that philosophy, the world is ours. I look forward to working with all of you and remember, we are all together.

Office Move
ASG has officially moved!
Prior to relocating, our Executive/Administrative building was operating in Matawan, while the Engineering Department shared building space in Aberdeen. After months of renovations, packing and unpacking we have finally settled in and consolidated under one roof in Holmdel. Just off of Parkway Exit 117, our 3 level facility has been fully occupied since July 31st.
ASG's new headquarters allows Admin, Drafters, Billing, ROW, Engineers, and Executive staff to work hand in hand without having to sacrifice travel time between the two previous buildings. Being in Central New Jersey, our position gives employees quick access to New York City and other surrounding areas where ASG is present.
All of the hours that were put in behind the scenes did not go unnoticed. Countless days of construction, painting, and setting up equipment made this possible. We would like to thank everyone involved from maintenance and movers to staff and executives for making this transition effortlessly.

Hi I am David Ridore, the controller at ASG. I have been with the company for a little over a year. Before I came aboard, I was the external public accountant. I prepared the yearly projections, financial statement, tax returns and any other financial reports the company would need.
ASG has been on a large growth spurt since inception. From our gross revenue in 2013 to our projected revenue in 2018, the surge is tremendous. In addition we have doubled our employee size each year to support the expansion. As each year goes by, ASG has used it profits to reinvest in the company. From the addition of employees, to purchasing a new building to call our “corporate headquarters”, our profits have gone to reinvest in the future of the company.
ASG currently still in a strong growth state. We anticipate the upward trend to continue for many years to come. There is no limit to where ASG can go . We hold the key to our future and we cannot wait to see where it takes us.

Jennifer Bergfeldt
- What is your Position with ASG and how long have you been with the company?
I am the Pathway Project Coordinator and I have been with ASG for 1 year and 9 months.
- What are your responsibilities?
Some of my responsibilities include scheduling site walks, obtaining COI’s, getting property approvals for start of work, maintaining pathway project schedules, assisting project managers with daily tasks, following up on status of work from start to completion.
- What are some of your hobbies?
My hobbies include going to the racetrack for drag racing. My dad drives and my brothers and I are part of the “pit crew” on the weekends some times. I also enjoy hiking, camping, snowboarding, bowling and mini golf
- Where is your favorite place to travel?
Growing up my family went to Wildwood Crest every summer so I have a soft spot for the Jersey Shore, boardwalk, and all its delicious treats! I also love going to Disney & Universal with my family. I would love to travel to Kristiansand, Norway where my mom’s family is from.
- If you could meet one celebrity, who would it be and why?
I think I would choose Robert Downey Jr. I love almost all his movies and there’s something encouraging about talking with someone who has been on top of the world, to the bottom of the pit and back up again. Sometimes you just need to hear that even though you made some mistakes you can still turn it around.
- What are some of your favorite sports teams, movies, and TV shows?
I love the New York Giants! Huge football fan. I like all the super hero movies (Marvel, DC… I can’t get enough of them) I also still love all the Fast and the Furious movies even though the story lines are bordering on ridiculous at this point. And TV shows again I like all the super heroes (The Flash, Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow, etc) but I also like Grey’s Anatomy and now that I am a home owner… nearly every show on HGTV and DIY network.
- The one thing I cant go a day without is?
Unsweetened Iced Tea!!!!
- What is your favorite part about working for ASG?
My favorite part of working for ASG is that there’s never a dull moment! Every day is different and keeps you engaged and on your toes. That makes the days go quick and the week flies by.

- What is your position with ASG and how long have you been with the company?
I am the VP of Engineering and I have been with ASG for 3 and a half years.
- What are your responsibilities?
Good question. On day to day basis I’m here to oversee operations and make sure we provide quality services. I also often meet and talk with our client to make sure we are meeting their expectations.
Whenever there is a problem, I work with the team to fix it.However, behind the scenes I’m here to provide support and direction to my team. I spend most of my office time meeting and listening to people as I feel that communication is the key to success.
- What has your experience with the company been like so far?
Very exciting and being able to see the company grow from a handful of people to what we are today is an amazing feeling.
- What are some of your favorite sports teams, movies, TV shows?
I’m a big fan of the NY Knicks basketball team and FC Bayern Munich for soccer. I also enjoy watching Big Bang Theory and the Fixer Upper.
- What is your favorite quote?
“Some people dream of success, while others wake up and work hard at it.”
- If they made a movie about your life, who would you choose to be the lead actor?
If I could choose one actor, I would probably select my twin, Ben Affleck
- The one thing I cant go a day without is?
COFFEE !!!!!
- Where do you enjoy spending free time?
I enjoy the simple things so I like spending free time on my couch.
- Who are some of your role models?
I would have to say my mom and batman.
What is your favorite part about working for ASG?
My favorite part of working for ASG has to be working with a great group of people.

Brooklyn ROW Party (September 9th)
Directed by Anthony Tepedino, Bruce Scherer, and Dovydas Skinkys, volunteers from various departments assisted in securing Right of Way in the Bayridge and Bensonhurst areas of Brooklyn, NY. Obtaining Right of Way can be a very difficult task, but with the help of our ROW team, all staff were successful in getting permission from property owners and managers to allow us access to bring service to their homes!
Although there were a few challenges throughout the afternoon, our team was able to overcome those hurdles and continue informing customers of the services ASG provides. On July 21st, we hosted our annual company picnic at Cheesequake State Park! The afternoon consisted of great food, games and employees getting to know one another outside of the workplace.
Many games of badminton, soccer, and football took place among the staff.
Even a few intense games of volleyball happened in the recreational area! Employees from various office locations took the trip to enjoy the event filled afternoon and BBQ. It also gave us time to catch up with friends in other departments that we normally don't see on a regular basis.
The rapid organizational growth, makes events like this great to have. We can come together, meet new faces, and reflect on all of the progress we have made all while enjoying the summer weather!
Thank you to all of those who helped organize this great picnic! We look forward to doing it again.

Invest in your future today!
ASG has established a 401(k) savings plan to provide employees the potential for future financial security for retirement.
To be eligible to join the 401(k) savings plan, you must complete 3 months of service and be 21 years of age or older. You may join the plan only during open enrollment periods. Eligible employees may participate in the 401(k) plan subject to all terms and conditions of the plan.
The 401(k) savings plan allows you to elect how much salary you want to contribute and direct the investment of your plan account, so you can tailor your own retirement package to meet your individual needs. ASG also contributes an additional 1% of your salary matching amount to each employee's 401(k) contribution. ASG allows you to participate in the two types of 401(k) retirement accounts: Traditional and Roth. The main difference between the two types is that traditional 401(k) accounts are funded with pretax dollars and Roth 401(k) accounts are funded with after tax dollars. You pay taxes on a traditional 401k when you withdraw the funds at retirement and you do not with Roth 401(k) accounts as the funds were taxed before you contributed them to the Roth account.

Congratulations Todd Rock!
Todd has recently been promoted to Training & Development Manager in the Engineering Department.
When asked about what he was most excited for he said," Bringing in new talent, company enhancements, and the future of ASG". He will be spending about 1 month teaching new hires drafting, and design by utilizing ICGS & VIZIO all while touching on ASG's company culture, Telecommunications and Engineering fundamentals. His prior teaching experience as a mentor in his previous career helped make for an easy transition into this new role.
After discussing what his biggest challenge would be, Todd said," My biggest challenge would be developing a training manual or guide that can adapt to both new and existing employees alike. We all absorb information in a different manner. I have to find a happy medium that addresses these concerns from an educators standpoint."
To this point, his favorite part of the job has been "..the open source collaboration with my colleagues in this joint venture. Witnessing the final product come to life is my ultimate reward. Not to mention a dedicated training location / environment with so many possibilities on the horizon."
Todd wants to thank ASG President, Anthony Tepedino, and his management partners for embracing his initiative. In turn, he is prized to assist ASG in reaching its full potential.
