This Group Process will utilize the tools that Dr. Tian Dayton has designed as Sociometrics Relational Trauma Recovery. RTR utilizes the Human Social Engagement System, the healthy aspect of codependency, nurturing and connection. The tools offered will allow you the ability to create safety, connection and camaraderie necessary to heal from trauma, co -create supports and engage in intimate relationships.


Healing involves SOCIOMETRIC choices that are shared with others in a group setting. Allowing the participants in engage in action, share pain, vulnerability, hopes, and dreams.


1. Experience Feelings “floor” checks as a way of connecting around feelings, experiences and strengths

2. Use of Social Atom to assess dysfunction, isolation and available social networks

3. Use of the timeline for both trauma and resilience

4. Demonstrate therapeutic letter writing by use of a gratitude letter

Karen Levin Moser, LCSW, CP, PAT

is a licensed clinical social worker and certified psychodramatist who is a graduate of Bryn Mawr College School of Social Work and Social Research and the co-founder of Philadelphia Area Psychodrama Institute. Her career began in the addictions treatment field where she worked in inpatient dual diagnosis treatment and later created and directed an intensive outpatient program for addiction and mental health. Since then, she has maintained a private practice at the Healing Collective where she provides individual, group, and couple’s therapies as well as clinical training. In addition, she has been on the adjunct faculty at both Bryn Mawr College and West Chester University. She is a skilled clinician and teacher who utilizes a variety of treatment approaches with her clients including gestalt therapy, psychodrama, and EMDR. Her passion is in integrating a variety of treatment modalities to aid clients and other clinicians to do therapy in the present healing with compassion, authenticity, and confidence.

David Moran, LCSW, TEP

is a a Behavioral Health Specialist for over 30 years. Served as Administrative Director of D&A Programs. He served as an Executive Council Member 2005-2020, VP & President 2009-2015 of the (ASGPP). He is a CADC, CCDP-D LCSW, a (TEP) Trainer, Educator and Practitioner of Psychodrama, Sociometry and Group Psychotherapy. (EMDRIA) Trained , Attuned Reiki Specialist. Trained as an Interventionist by NCADD. He is currently specializing in individuals, couples, group & community interventions. He is a holistic healer. He has trained and offered Psychodrama at the local, National and international arena. 

Dave’s passion is recovery, with his private practice, “I Like Me Now,” reflects that not only do people recover, transcend that pain, learn to enjoy life, and like themselves as they are. Dave is recognized by his peers as a therapist for therapist. He serves on the Delaware County Crisis Intervention Team, for Police. He helped to initiate Drug Court Programs, Integrate the MH and D&A system under a Co-occurring perspective and opened a number of treatment programs in the hospital systems. He is an Adjunct Instructor with the Gerry Spence Method Team providing psychodrama to Trial Lawyers. Dave is a NAADAC certified in Sociometrics a bottom up feelings model of trauma and addiction recovery.


COST: $80, $50 students and retirees
