The mentor program is dedicated to helping new technologists and new Supervisors/Managers advance in their careers and its success is solely dependent on volunteers willing to serve as mentors.
Mentors are asked to meet with their mentee at least once a month for a year's time. Meetings can be virtual or via conference call. After a year, mentors and mentees can develop their own guidelines for the frequency of their communication.
Please note the following guidelines:
- Mentors must have at least 3 years of HLA experience
- Mentors must be ASHI members

in the beginning stages of development. We are currently building a robust list of mentors before unveiling the program to the mentees. That said, we ask for your patience as we determine next steps and disseminate further instructions.
