Asia-Pacific Conference of Transplantation, Immunogenetics, and Blood Transfusion 2022
The Asia-Pacific Conference of Transplantation, Immunogenetics, and Blood Transfusion offers academic and technical exchanges on topics such as organ transplantation, histocompatibility and immunogenetics, blood transfusion, and cell therapy.

18th Congress of the Middle East Society for Organ Transplantation
The 18th Congress of the Middle East Society for Organ Transplantation (MESOT) will be held on May 24-26, 2023 in Ankara, Turkey. Transplantation activities in MESOT countries are growing daily and the quality of the medical and surgical treatment provided for the patients is on par with the most developed countries in the world.

The 18th Congress of the MESOT will be an ideal opportunity to share and learn from each other. State-of-the-art lectures, plenaries, oral presentations, and poster receptions will stimulate deep discussions on the latest scientific research in all fields of organ transplantation in the Middle East, Mid Asia and the world. Quality Assurance & Standards (QAS) Committee webinar
The ASHI QAS Committee is hosting its first webinar! This webinar will showcase a presentation of the proposed changes to the 2021 ASHI Standards, followed by a live question and answer session. FYI the public comment period is scheduled to open on August 1. Please join us on on Tuesday, July 26 at 2 PM ET / 11 AM PST.
Proficiency Testing
2022 EMO-1 and HT-1 Reports
Reports for the EMO-1 and HT-1 survey were completed at the end of June and are currently accessible to participating laboratories in the ASHI PT Lab Center.

2022 AC-1 Report
Results for the AC-1 survey were submitted in June and the report review process has begun. Participating laboratories will be notified by email once the reports are finalized.
 
2022 VXM-1
Labs that wish to participate in the optional, educational virtual crossmatch (VXM-1) challenge will be able to do so again this year. More information will be provided in the next few weeks as it becomes available.
Would you like to be an ASHI inspector?
The ARB will be hosting a full-day training workshop in conjunction with the 48th Annual Meeting in Las Vegas on Monday, October 24th. This full day workshop is the first step to becoming a new inspector. Active inspectors and trainees can attend the second half (afternoon session) of this workshop to keep your status active as well. Please contact Melissa Weeks to reserve your spot.
