The European Federation for Immunogenetics (EFI) Scientific Committee presents a webinar discussing “New Perspectives on Innate Lymphoid Cell
Development and Function”. The webinar is scheduled on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at 4pm CET.
American College of Histocompatibility & Immunogenetics (ACHI)
ACHI Credential Recommendations
The ACHI Board is recommending that Directors use the F(ACHI) credentials in place of D(ABHI) by January 1, 2022. Staff will be changing over that nomenclature in things like the accreditation letters & certificates, and accredited laboratory directory over the course of the next few months. Any other lists where “D(ABHI)” is found will be changed to reflect “F(ACHI)”.

2021 AC-1 Reports
The AC-1 reports are now available for review in the ASHI PT Lab Center.

2021 VXM-1 Report
Data for the VXM-1 report is in the process of being reviewed and compiled. Labs will be notified by email upon completion.

2021 HT-2 Survey
The HT-2 Survey is scheduled to ship on Tuesday, September 14, 2021. Results for this survey will be due Friday, October 22nd.
Volunteer Opportunities
The ASHI Information Technology Committee is looking for volunteers! General responsibilities for this committee include:
  • Work with ASHI staff to ensure web content is current and accurate.
  • Liaise with other committees to create a web presence for engagement of members and dissemination of information.
  • Optimize website for implementation of ASHI’s strategic plan
  • Attend the annual committee meeting held in conjunction with the ASHI Annual Meeting whenever possible.
  • Maintain the “Related Links” web page.

ASHI University - Important Update
There were new updates to the ASHI University website. These updates have changed the process in which you use to access your CEC's. Check out the step-by-step outline on how to obtain your certificates by clicking here, or click the link on the left for a video tutorial.
Attention Inspectors & Inspector Trainees
If you are unable to attend the in-person inspector training workshop at the Orlando ASHI meeting, you can register for the virtual edition of the afternoon/half-day update. This webinar will be held on Tuesday, October 26th at 12 PM EST. To register, please click here to email Melissa Weeks. 

The content presented during the webinar will be identical to what is presented onsite at the in-person meeting and will be saved in ASHI University. This webinar is intended for active inspectors & trainees only – not new inspectors.
