Our ASID MN Director At-Large, Nicole Alatar, announces Tanya Otten as this month's Volunteer Spotlight recipient.
“As a valued member of ASID MN, Tanya Otten goes above and beyond with any of the volunteer positions she holds. She is kind and always welcoming. Tanya is constantly coming up with new ideas for the programs committee and even brought to our chapter the White Box Challenge, which we highly encourage you to attend in 2023! Her hard work, dedication and attention to detail make the monthly CEU events look like a breeze (although we know it takes time and effort putting those together).

At the end of this program, you will be able to recognize how the human eye perceives color and the three basic characteristics of color: hue, value, and chroma; describe how color meanings affect emotions both positively and negatively; recognize the significant psychological and physiological effect color can have and its use in design for healing environments, environments for the aging, and commercial and residential applications; and discuss the importance of age, gender, and culture in the perception and health impact of color in design.
