It's that time again, chapter elections are upon us!
We look forward to continuing the great work happening here in our chapter and would like to give notice to our members that we will be holding an election soon. Below are the positions that will be on the ballot coming to your email inbox soon.

The chapter elections will begin on March 15, 2023and close on March 25, 2023.
All Practitioner and Industry Partner Members in good standing as of October 1, 2022 are eligible to vote. Watch your email for information about the 2023/2024 slate of officers and a link to vote.

As baby boomers continue to age, and life expectancy increases, the number of potential clients looking for this design skill will inevitably increase, so let’s get ready!
Our design expert, Catherine Deutschlander, founder of CW Design, will explore this topic and share her wisdom. We will discuss how to proactively design a home that allows for a clients’ changing needs. We will talk about new technology, guidelines, and ideas on how to create a space that incorporates safety, comfort and smart design.

Event Description:
Earn a CEU as you learn from Farrow & Ball Key Account Manager, Jessica Ritchie. She will be presenting the following 4 essential components to choosing the right color every time.
- COLOR FOUNDATIONS: A brief review of Color Theory to get us up to speed on what we need to know and build on including what is color space, color systems and application of RGB, CMYK and RYB systems.
- COLOR PERCEPTION: how do we see? do we all see the same? Challenges in seeing colors and creating color combinations.
- MAKING OF A COLOR: review pigments & dyes, what they are, history, uses, and limitations for various applications in print and products.
- GETTING THE COLOR YOU WANT: review of how to manage the complexities of color across various devices and media that designers now have to work with. Weather it is color online, in print, or in application such as selecting a paint color or producing a printed fabric or wallpaper.
