Bruch & Learn CEU: Selecting the Best Seat Cushion for Your Customer

The purpose of this course is to understand the different parts of a seat and back cushion, as well as the characteristics of fabric and/or leather that can affect cushion feel (firmness/softness). You'll use this information to make informed decisions when selecting cushions/fabric to achieve a comfortable feel and know what to look for in a high-quality seat and back cushion.


Express Window Fashions has recently acquired Drapes Etc. We are really excited to now be able to offer our designers a more comprehensive line of custom window treatments. Drapes Etc is a custom workroom specializing in drapery, stationary panels, roman shades, valance, cornices, pillows and bedding. Barb Schwarz, the previous owner, will be staying on as our workroom manager. We are currently going through a showroom remodel so we can offer you and your clients a great experience when looking for custom window treatments.

STARK is seeking to hire an experienced Luxury Carpet Sales Professional with a proven track-record selling to the trades (Interior Designers, Architectural Firms) for the INTERSOURCE by STARK showroom in Minneapolis, MN.

Job Responsibilities:

· Advise clients on product attributes and qualities as related to their needs -- through networking, observing and analyzing market trends.

· Identify potential clients and create strategic client-centric marketing plans.

· Prepare sales documents in order to initiate and close sales.

· Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

· Must possess a strong interest in the interior design trade as well as interpersonal, communication and computer skills.

· B.A. / B.S. Degree preferably in Interior Design or related field, and a minimum 2 years sales “to the trade” experience or a minimum of 5 years sales “to the trade” experience in lieu of the aforementioned educational preferences.
