Dear ASID New Mexico Member,
The ASID 2017-2020 National Strategic Plan Pillars focus on how design impacts lives, living the brand, and communicating our dedication to better living to our clients and community. The New Mexico Chapter will align with the new strategic plan, in part, by focusing our upcoming CEU’s on the values emphasized throughout the new strategic plan. We are striving to bring you new, exciting, and more advanced CEU content. Please take advantage of the opportunities scattered throughout the year to earn your required CEU credits.
In addition to these CEU events, we will be coordinating social “Meet and Greet” events where you can get to know our wonderful Industry Partners. These events will also allow you to network with other designers, and to learn about other exciting design-related opportunities within our community.
Come join us for some spring time fun as we celebrate our Chapter members at Hotel Chaco on April 26th. The board is looking forward to meeting all our Chapter’s outstanding designers, students, and Industry Partners. This night is for you, and we hope to see you there.
I am excited to share with you that the board is developing a marketing plan to promote the ASID brand and to educate our local client base about the benefits of working with an ASID designer. In early April, our second insertion in Su Casa Magazine will be published in the Homes of Enchantment Parade edition. Please look for this, and other ASID New Mexico Chapter ads in local publications throughout the year.
Your ASID NM Chapter 2017-2018 Board of Directors is working hard to help you get the most from your membership. We welcome your ideas to better serve you and build our Chapters’ success. You can find contact information for the ASID New Mexico Board by visiting our website,

. There you will also find a list of upcoming events we have planned for the year.
Sincerely,
Judith Romero, Allied ASID
President, NM Chapter of ASID
