Deaf-Blind Resources
Family members are the most important people on the educational team and in the life of a child with deaf-blindness. They are the one consistent presence as children move from early intervention to school and then transition to adult life. Educational settings change and practitioners come and go, but the family is always there. Here are some resources for families with children who are deaf-blind:

ASL Access has a new website. It's got video reviews, useful links, articles, research, and resources for your whole family to enjoy.
Save the Date for Camp Discovery!
Gallaudet University’s Camp Discovery is for children ages 4-12 who are deaf or hard of hearing or who have parents who are deaf. This year, the camp will be virtual. Session 1 is July 5-16 and Session 2 is July 19-30.
Proposed Law: Better Educational Services
The Alice Cogswell and Anne Sullivan Macy Act was recently proposed in Congress with bipartisan support. The act would improve educational services and opportunities for students who are deaf, hard of hearing, blind, visually impaired, and deaf-blind. Contact your representatives today to encourage them to pass this legislation!
