ASMP and AIGA CO Portfolio Reviews were a big success!
The ASMP and AIGA Colorado Professional Portfolio Review during Month of Photography Denver on March 24 drew 45 participants from as far as Tehran and Barcelona and a diverse group of almost as many reviewers from across the country.
The reviewers for the all-day Zoom event ranged from well-known photographers and art buyers to photographer consultants, gallery specialists and editors. In open Zoom chats between four, two-hour sessions, several said they were impressed by the level of work they saw in portfolios posted on participants’ websites.
Those receiving reviews – five each during a session – said they were pleased with the support and suggestions they received.
Caroline Gutman, an award-winning photojournalist from Philadelphia, said the day of reviews “was truly energizing for me after a long winter and year. I'm grateful for the opportunity, and I feel inspired to make work for the first time in a while.”
