ASMP Member Feature: Eric Lucero
For the past 20 years Eric Lucero has best been known for attention grabbing architectural photography. Chances are good you are unknowingly familiar with his signature style from his work in popular home magazines, or searching the internet for home inspiration.
With a strong attention to every detail, Eric thrives on having full control of his images from the proper placement of each item within the shot, to how the light seemingly flows naturally across the spaces he captures. It’s important for him to have images which maintain a natural feel, while also leaving viewers curious as to how each space appears so much “better than in person”.
He finds great pleasure using and learning about the latest gear and post production techniques. With a strong belief that the best images are created using the best equipment it’s easy to see the quality difference in Eric’s photos when viewed among his peers.
Eric’s true strength comes from his curiosity to always learn more and swap insights with other photographers who give him inspiration. He loves sharing ideas about lighting, equipment, editing and, most importantly, the business of photography. It’s paramount to him to maintain the integrity of the craft and be involved with other professionals in groups such as ASMP.
