ASMP Member Feature Kathryn Wagner

Kathryn grew up in Charlottesville, Virginia and attended Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond Virginia; where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Art in Photography. Kathryn’s work has taken her to the Caribbean Islands of St. Barthelemy and the Virgin Islands; where she worked with clients such as American Airlines’ magazine. She has also spent time in Charleston, South Carolina where she worked with The New York Times and Travel and Leisure. Based in Denver, Colorado Kathryn is available for commission and assignment shooting food and travel. We are thrilled to have her here in our Denver community.

I am Paul Weinrauch, the current President of ASMP Colorado, and a member for several years. One of the benefits of ASMP is Find a Photographer, and as a result of setting it up and keeping it active over the years, it has paid for my membership several times over. One of my recent experiences is Costco contacting me, who found me on Find a Photographer and needed a photograph for their magazine. While photographing that job, I discovered that Costco has a process in place that when they need a photographer, they contact local management in that area and see if they are already using someone, and if not, the 2nd place they go is ASMP!
