On September 20, 2017, Hurricane Maria struck Puerto Rico. In response to this tragedy, ASN began collecting donations to ship to those in need in Puerto Rico.

In response to the ongoing crisis in the Caribbean and Puerto Rico, ASN has partnered with a clients, K&M Accessories, Coast to Coast, Inc., and North Atlantic Distribution, Inc., to collect critical supplies and coordinate their distribution to those in need. We are asking for donations of perishable food, medical supplies, and clothes. All donations can be dropped off at our 500 Broad St. offices in South Providence. We will continue accepting donations for future shipments

ASN recognizes that we have a social responsibility as an employer to do more than just provide jobs. Available Staffing Network has recently graduated from the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program. Nationally, 69% of businesses that have completed the program have reported increasing revenues just 6 months after graduating. Additionally, 48% have reported the creation of new jobs within six months of completion. As another sign of the success of the program, 85% say they are now doing business with other graduates. The program has a 99% completion rate.

The USCIS system is linked to the Dept. of Homeland Security, the Social Security Administration and the Dept. of State. We make sure that all of these agencies has given everyone we sent out the green light.   1. What does the agency's client list look like? Do they handle the type of clients you want to work for?
  2. Do they have a searchable database you can use or are you solely dependent on them to let you know what positions are available?
  3. Does the agency offer resume writing classes, interview training and skill testing (so you can stand out from the crowd)?
  4. Do they offer training (web-based, computer applications, other skills)?
  5. Can you get benefits such as health care and worker's compensation?
