Dear ASNR Young Professionals,
Happy RSNA week, and we hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
We are very excited about 2019-2020 with the ASNR and are working hard to both continue previously popular YPS programming and also to implement several innovative ideas, most of which were suggested by the YPS community.
Building on past successful Annual Meeting YPS Sessions focused on non-clinical topics, the YPS is co-sponsoring three non-clinical sessions in collaboration with the Fellowship Directors Committee for Las Vegas:
Monday 6/1, 4:55p-6:25p
- ‘Managing Professional Transitions’ will address how to successfully navigate career transitions and how to excel in various practice environments.
Tuesday 6/2, 3:20p-4:50p
- ‘Personal and Organizational Breakthroughs’ will discuss various approaches to negotiation, balance, wellness, and breaking through failure.
Wednesday 6/3, 11:00a-12:00p
- ‘Show Me the Money’ will tackle important financial and legal issues relevant to the neuroradiologist.
Another Annual Meeting highlight is the
YPS Mentoring Reception
, which will take place on
Tuesday 6/2 from 4:55p-6:25p
. As in previous years, we expect to have structured round-table discussions led by selected experts on chosen topics.
New this year
we also plan to have additional unstructured time at the end during which further discussion may occur and additional mentors may drop in to share their wisdom and expertise. Stay tuned for an RSVP link - you won’t want to miss it!
