We are excited to announce the launch of AJNR: Clinical Practice, a new journal debuting in early 2026 as the next chapter of Neurographics within the AJNR family of journals. This journal will focus on delivering high-quality, peer-reviewed, practice-oriented educational content to advance lifelong learning in neuroradiology.

Wellness Corner: Small Steps Toward a Greener Radiology

Sustainability is becoming an exciting area of innovation in health care. Even small changes in radiology can help save energy, reduce waste, and support healthier communities—all while maintaining high-quality patient care.

Most of the energy use in radiology comes from manufacturing and operating imaging equipment. By making thoughtful choices in daily practice, radiology teams can help create a more efficient and environmentally friendly workplace.

A few easy ways to make a difference:



• Streamline imaging protocols to avoid unnecessary energy use when appropriate.
• Schedule patients efficiently to keep equipment operating smoothly.
• Look for energy-efficient features when evaluating new equipment and ask vendors about their sustainability initiatives.
• Use digital documentation and teleradiology to cut down on paper use and reduce travel where feasible.
