Just Released: Use of Telemedicine in Alternate Care Sites (Webinar)
In addition to being increasingly used by outpatient providers, telemedicine can play an integral role in alternate care sites. The speakers in this webinar discussed related operations, management, and lessons learned. Be sure to check out the ASPR TRACIE COVID-19 and Telehealth tip sheet and the Alternate Care Site Toolkit. These resources can be found in our COVID-19 Alternate Care Site Resource Collection.

New! COVID-19 and Urgent Care Centers: Lessons Learned for the Future
As the COVID-19 pandemic rages across the United States, local community urgent care centers are often on the frontlines. ASPR TRACIE interviewed staff from the Urgent Care Association to learn more about their experiences, lessons learned, and plans to work with their local medical communities in the near future. Be on the lookout for our next issue of The Exchange in early September, where we will share this and other articles based on stakeholder experiences and resources developed in response to COVID-19.

COVID-19 Clinical Rounds Peer-to-Peer Virtual Communities of Practice are a collaborative effort between ASPR, the National Emerging Special Pathogen Training and Education Center (NETEC), and Project ECHO. These interactive virtual learning sessions aim to create a peer-to-peer learning network where clinicians from the U.S. and abroad who have experience treating patients with COVID-19 share their challenges and successes; a generous amount of time for participant Q & A is also provided. These webinar topics are covered every week:

  • EMS: Patient Care and Operations (Mondays, 12:00-1:00 PM ET)
  • Critical Care: Lifesaving Treatment and Clinical Operations (Tuesdays, 12:00-1:00 PM ET)
