New: Maintaining Healthcare Safety During the COVID-19 Pandemic: Medically Necessary, Time-Sensitive (MeNTS) Procedures
In this short video, Dr. Vivek Prachand, University of Chicago Medicine, discusses how the health system developed and operationalized the MeNTS scoring system to ethically and efficiently manage resource scarcity and provider risk during the COVID-19 pandemic. Because of your interest and support, ASPR TRACIE is celebrating our five year anniversary this month! Since 2015, we have been able to respond to more than 7,500 requests for TA; develop hundreds of resources (e.g., Topic Collections, newsletters, tip sheets, tools and templates, and webinars); and provide more than 9,300 registrants with access to our Information Exchange. COVID-19 Clinical Rounds Peer-to-Peer Virtual Communities of Practice are a collaborative effort between ASPR, the National Emerging Special Pathogen Training and Education Center (NETEC), and Project ECHO. These interactive virtual learning sessions aim to create a peer-to-peer learning network where clinicians from the U.S. and abroad who have experience treating patients with COVID-19 share their challenges and successes; a generous amount of time for participant Q & A is also provided. These webinar topics are covered every week:

  • EMS: Patient Care and Operations (Mondays, 12:00-1:00 PM ET)
  • Critical Care: Lifesaving Treatment and Clinical Operations (Tuesdays, 12:00-1:00 PM ET)
