Replanting FoodShare's Roots 

FoodShare started up in 1985 in response to economic downturn. The organization acted as a referral service, connecting people to emergency food relief and providing solutions such as community gardens and ways of getting produce to underserved communities via the Ontario Food Terminal. Thirty years on, these ideas have grown and created many community based food solutions.

What Causes Osteoarthritis?

Osteoarthritis (OA) is the most common type of arthritis, affecting more than one in 10 Canadians. OA is the result of the body's failed attempt to repair damaged cartilage. Cartilage is the slippery tissue that covers the ends of bones in a joint. Healthy cartilage allows bones to glide over each other. It also helps absorb the shock of movement.
