African-American History - Assistant Professor Position Opening
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign

The Department of History at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign invites applications for a full-time tenure-track, assistant professor position in African-American history, pre-twentieth century, with a target start date of August 16, 2013. All subfields invited to apply; department especially welcomes applicants working on slave trade and slavery, gender and sexuality, labor, Atlantic world, cultural, or legal history.
