Exemptions undermine the need for government regulation. As such, very few professions provide exemptions from licensure. Allowing someone to engage in practice without a license merely because of the person, position, or title disregards the identified need for regulation in the public interest.  read more
Register for the 2019 ASWB Annual Meeting
Registration is open for the 2019 ASWB Annual Meeting of the Delegate Assembly, November 7–9, in Orlando, Florida. Each member board is entitled to send a funded delegate to the meeting to vote on amendments to the bylaws and elect members of the Nominating Committee and the Board of Directors.

A limited number of scholarships is available for attendees who do not otherwise qualify for funding.
