Former National Level Figure Skating Competitor
Coaching Experience
25 years coaching elite figure skaters. 3 years working with hockey players.
How long have you been working at the ATC?
This will be my second summer.
How did you become interested in working with hockey players?
It was at the urging of my good friend and ATC Director of Skating Dawn Braid. 3 years ago she had me assisting her with minor hockey players. 2011 was a career changing year for me. Dawn Braid brought me on board at the ATC and I assisted her at the Anaheim Ducks camp main camp. In addition, I also worked at Tampa Bays main camp. Working with NHL players and the elite athletes at the ATC was so rewarding that I now work solely with hockey players.
What other opportunites have come your way?
I am now working with former NHL all-star Adam Foote and his organization, CHL comissioner David Branch, and also for some NHL player agents.
Where did you grow up?
Oshawa, Ontario. It was a great place to grow up as a kid and it was where I was introduced to figure skating and where I became an elite skater.
What do you do in your spare time?
I spend most of my free time with my family: Chris my husband, son Chad (lacrosse scholarship @ U of North Carolina, Chapel Hill), son Brody (Jr. A hockey), and daughter Braedyn.
Any free time I have is spent in my garden.
