Industry Groups Stepping Up to Fund Technician Education
With a looming technical workforce shortage, organizations are looking for ways to bolster the workforce pipeline. Establishment of scholarships and awards is a popular option, one that will directly benefit students.
While there are opportunities available year-long, many application deadlines occur in the spring. Below are a few opportunities available to future aviation technicians. For a full listing of organizations that offer scholarships, visit

Each year the Northrop Rice Foundation distributes scholarships and awards to aviation maintenance students and schools. The deadline to apply is
Jan. 31.
