During this dynamic event on April 20, we heard a powerful presentation by Joy Wagner, Granger Waste Services Human Resource Manager, about holistic wellness and the importance of scheduling time for wellness, giving ourselves grace, practicing gratitude and breathing!
Girls’ Night Out at The Plant Professionals
On May 3, the women attending this fun networking event were able to create beautiful flower arrangements while networking and sharing laughs together. Kathy Valentine, President of The Plant Professionals and Deb Ottinger, Floral Designer, were on hand to help with the arrangements and educate the group on all things floral. We had a full-circle ATHENA Lansing evening, as Kathy was the very first ATHENA PowerLink recipient in 2006! It was great to see first-hand how that program strengthened her professional development and helped the company thrive into the business it's become today!
