From preschool students in Primary Prep to our upper level CLC students in high school, the ATLAS facility comes to life in August. One element of our ATLAS programming that is particularly exciting for me this year is the launching of our middle school THR!VE program. This is a program was designed specifically for middle school students and includes leadership development opportunities, biblical teaching, discipleship, and high energy environments each week! Central to the program is a core group of ATLAS student leaders who play a huge role in planning, developing, and running the event each week, giving them a one-of-a-kind opportunity to lead from within their peer group in a meaningful way! THR!VE is open to all Greene County middle school students grades 6th through 8th.

This is just ONE way ATLAS is actively striving to equip children and their families to fulfill their God given purpose. I could not be more proud of the team we have here. They are pushing me each and every day to be better and I am thrilled about everything they are accomplishing. Take a look below for a snapshot!

ATLAS Early Learners

Infant Toddler Tech

Birth - Age 3

Infant Toddler Tech has transitioned from televisits to in person learning. We have enjoyed seeing parents bring their children in to ATLAS. During these visits, the ITT specialist works with the mom and child and focuses on reading, singing, and monitoring developmental milestones.

ATLAS Early Learners

Primary Prep

Age 3 - Kindergarten

Primary Prep appointments have started for fall semester. ATLAS has added 20 new students in a partnership with Greene County Pre-K Program. An ATLAS Primary Prep Specialist goes into the school three days a week to work with students on their learning goals. Every student receives individualized instruction and personal learning goals that are shared with their parents.

ATLAS Academy

Kindergarten - 2nd Grade

ATLAS Academy welcomed 20 new children into the program this school year These children are receiving Orton Gillingham instruction daily, homework help, and attend weekly worship where they learn Bible memory verses and sing worship songs.

"I am so excited about the new school year! We have started all in-person visits for Infant Toddler Tech. We have parents coming in with their youngest for developmental monitoring, learning resources, and modeled reading and singing. Primary Prep has started off really well as we are partnering with CBJ Pre-K to assign a Primary Prep Specialist to classrooms to implement our new Kindergarten Readiness Program. ATLAS Academy has 38 students that come in Monday- Wednesday. At ATLAS Academy, we work on reading instruction through Orton Gillingham practices, weekly PE class, and have worship Wednesdays. We have a motivated staff and exciting things going on daily at ATLAS, and I am super excited to watch our Early Learners grow this school year."

ATLAS Christian Learning Center

3rd Grade - 12th Grade

ATLAS CLC classes are in full swing! We have middle and high school classes rotating throughout the day at our ATLAS building and other schools in the area. This fall we offer the following classes: Leadership, Critical Thinking/Logic, Current Issues, Girls Only Body Positive, Boys Only Lifetime Sports- all Bible-based and taught from a Christian perspective. Apologetics and New Testament classes will be added 2nd semester! Also a first for this year, we have added THR!VE, a middle school evening youth program. We are excited that we now have a second opportunity in a day to share the love of Jesus with these young teenagers.

"As a new school year begins, we pray that the Lord guides and directs our path. This school year we have added several new classes to our CLC course offerings. ATLAS is now in the second month of a new 7th grade Biblical Logic class, leading students to critically think about the world around them and use scripture to interpret what they see. ATLAS has also expanded the gender specific class offerings, now leading a boys class that teaches young men to embrace their identity in Christ and understand how they were uniquely wired for a purpose as men. As mentioned above, this August we launched a new Middle School program called THR!VE, which focuses on building a community of young leaders through Christ Jesus. Finally, we are eager as we look forward to working with upper elementary students grades 3rd-5th. A new and exciting opportunity for upper elementary age students will begin the second semester of the year."
