A.  What are the Florida districts for our state Senate, state House, and U.S. House for each of Florida's 67 counties?  

This past Friday, June 22, was the deadline for those interested in running for a state office to qualify.  Since our May statewide call, there are many deletions and additions to the lists below:

B.   Who are the candidates running for Florida's next governor ? Their campaign contributions from the highest to lowest as of 6-25-18.

C. Who are the candidates running for the
Florida Senate  (Excel file)?

D.  Who are the candidates running for the 
Florida House  (Excel file)?

E.  Here are the directions to review who and how much has been contributed to the above candidates to date:

1.  Click on the candidate's name on the above documents.
2.  Once on the candidate tracking system page, click on "Campaign Finance Activity" at bottom of page.
3.  Once on that page, cursor down to " Select Sort Order" and select "Name."
4.  Hit "Submit Query Now" -- a list of all the names of the contributors and the amounts contributed to date will appear -- you can view the list on your screen or download it.
5.  Do you or your board members know any of the individuals or businesses that have made campaign contributions to your candidates?

B.  Based upon your input from last month, let's review the 2018 Florida Legislative Candidates' Survey on Arts & Culture -- your thoughts and the best way to use it as an educational and candidate-engagement tool ?

C .  What are your ideas to engage more advocates in this year's elections to reach out to incumbents, those already elected, and new candidates about our funding and policy issues?

D.  Step up the vote and make sure you and others are registered to vote this year:

E.  It's a numbers' game
-- we need to recruit and engage m any arts, arts education, and culture advocates to communicate with candidates and incumbents  during this 2018 election cycle about our issues using the

(1)  Florida Legislative Candidates' Survey on Arts & Culture; 
(2)  Gubernatorial Platform on Arts & Culture;   
(3)  County-by-county 2018-2019 DCA status report
(4)  social media campaign -- in development stages;
(5)  more face-to-face time with candidates and incumbents.

F.  Please make a contribution to the Florida PAC for Arts & Culture to build its capacity to make campaign contributions to candidates supportive of arts, arts education, and culture issues.

G.    Beginning the week of July 9, the Step Up the Vote campaign materials and steps of action will be finalized.  Details will be emailed  to you and posted at  f or you, your board  members, patrons, and other advocates to use to engage in this  year's elections.
