Thank you to the all who provided feedback on how to rebrand AUGIE. We had a great response to our survey—more than 388 completed, a great mix of agents, carriers, associations, and vendors. What is even better is that more than a quarter of you took the time to write comments, telling us how you feel about not only AUGIE’s name, but areas of focus for AUGIE and ways we can continue to engage a broad audience. This is testimony to one of the greatest strengths of AUGIE—our involved and vocal community. We look forward to sharing more information about the new brand and messages, as well our plans to share the AUGIE story more broadly during the upcoming open call on June 11, 2019 at 3:00 ET.

We’re always looking to hear from AUGIE members about the topics you want to discuss. Here are some of the issues we’re currently working on.

  1. Claims Download is an important area of focus, and many AUGIE members are involved in the discussions. We’re making progress—the numbers of carriers supporting CL and agency users continues to increase, but we have more work to do. If you want to get involved, please email Susan Labarre at
  2. MGA integration. If you are interested in this topic we’re hosting a call on June 18th at 2:00 ET. If you too want to participate, please contact
  3. Cyber. Attendees at the recent face to face meeting in Columbus requested that we add cyber to our agenda. We will kick off this topic during the open call on June 11th at 3:00 ET.
  4. Agribusiness. We will be seeking individuals with experience writing ag and sharing what is needed to make servicing this business more efficient. If you are interested in Agribusiness, please email

AUGIE is open to anyone in the independent agent and broker distribution channel. It continues to be the place where all, regardless of the association, user group, system, carrier affliation, etc. may talk and collaborate on industry issues.
