We've created a place where all who are interested can collaborate on a topic. A place where you can:
  • get your questions answered
  • get advice and tips from others who've been there and done it
  • understand what carriers are doing
  • know what vendors are doing
  • post an issue that you are having, for all with a common interest to assist in resolving
 
The conversation is happening on Workstorm, a collaboration hub. If you're used to working in Slack or Teams, Workstorm is similar but designed to enable communication outside the company for a group like AUGIE.
 
This past year has opened our eyes to the need for more digital information and connectivity.
 
That is why we are starting two discussion groups on Workstorm
  • -Claims Download and
  • eDocs and Messages. 
We can add more as we go.
 
Our goal--make this THE place to go for agents, carriers, vendors and associations to get the latest information on the topics that are critical to your agency-carrier communications.

Claims Download
  • Claims download provides information directly from the carrier to the agency about a client’s loss.
  • It saves agents keystrokes, provides them with information to service their clients, and data may be used to analyze the profitability of a client.
  • Documentation has been provided to the industry on https://augiegroup.org/library/ specific to Claims download
  • AUGIE Group is setting up this group to learn more about how agents use claims download, expand its educational materials and to identify potential obstacles for widespread adoption. 
eDocs and Messages
  • eDocs and messages download provide information directly from the carrier to the agency. It is in the format of a message and may also include an attachment.
  • Edocs and Messages eliminates paper mailings, emails or faxes from the carriers. Information is delivered directly to the agency management system. It eliminates the need for an agent to sign into a carrier’s website to download messages and documents.

  • AUGIE Group is setting up this group to share what is currently being provided by carriers, expand its educational materials, recognize carriers currently providing this information, establish a process for encouraging more carriers to provide this information, and to identify potential obstacles for widespread adoption.
