GRC RELEASES 2018 SURVEY RESULTS

The Glass Recycling Coalition surveyed over 300 representatives from the public sector, glass industry and MRF operators. Survey results are now available and reveal important perceptions, trends and concerns including:

93% of residents and consumers still expect to be able to recycle glass.
80% of total respondents (30% increase over 2017) believe costs for collecting and processing ALL recyclables should be shared among manufacturers, haulers, public sector, MRFs and end markets.
54% of public sector respondents named enhanced consumer education as their top program change in current market conditions.
