We're Still Here!
You have likely heard in news that public media nationwide will no longer receive funding from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.
PBS is still here. PBS KIDS is still here. And Idaho Public Television continues to create local programs like Outdoor Idaho and provide high-quality in-person educational resources to families and schools around the state. Our IdahoPTV Education team of passionate early childhood educators continue to do what they do best: serve Idaho’s families with FREE resources and content to support literacy, math, and science skills and to prepare Idaho kids for success in school and in life.
Federal funding for Idaho Public Television—about $2 million, or 25% of the private funds raised by the Friends of Idaho Public Television each year—supported a great deal of our work. Despite this loss, with your support Idaho Public Television can continue to provide these popular programs and vital services throughout the state. Read more >>

Weippe, Lapwai, Burley, and More
We hosted a fun Frontier Days event in Weippe, where we made rag dolls, horses on a stick, and GORP snacks, decorated bandanas, constructed a giant floor puzzle, and made faux leather vests in the style of Carl the Collector. We talked about Lewis and Clark, pioneer days, railroad history.

NEW: I Feel
I Feel is a new series of FREE resources for educators to support children ages 3-8 in building emotional awareness. In each segment, children name an emotion, and an expert defines it using simple, age-appropriate language.
