Meet Karen Steiger! We are so thankful for her hard work and passion.

Q. How long have you been volunteering at Thriftique?
A. 16 years!
Q . You’re experienced! Where did you get your retail experience?
A. My family owned and operated Bon-Kay Fashions for more than 30 years.
Q. What are you most proud of?
A. Other than volunteering (which I love!), I am proud of my big family: my husband, two sons, 7 grandchildren, 3 (and a half) great-grandchildren.
WHERE YOUR MONEY GOES
There are a variety of different projects and initiatives that NCJW/CLE members support. This month, we spotlight Council Gardens. NCJW/CLE broke ground on Council Gardens in 1962, a nonsectarian, independent living apartment complex for the elderly with moderate incomes, a first of its kind in Cleveland. Today, we still sponsor this high-quality and safe living environment.
