Flights from Kamchatka typically depart in the early afternoon and arrive in Moscow early afternoon of the same day. Return flights from Moscow typically depart in the evening and arrive the morning of the following day. See the following sample itinerary on Aeroflot.

 ALASKA WELCOMES RUSSIAN TRAVEL AGENTS
FAM Trip to Alaska
  
From July 12 to 19, 2014, ATTA Members InterPacific Aviation and Marketing Inc./AirRussia.US and Visit Anchorage in partnership with the Russian carrier Yakutia Airlines co-sponsored a FAM trip for Russian travel agents to visit Alaska. This is a part of InterPacific Aviation's ongoing effort to promote Alaska as a travel destination for Russians, and to encourage travel on the seasonal Alaska-Russia Far East air service that it operates utilizing Yakutia Airlines Boeing 737-700 aircraft. The agents traveled from the Russian cities of Moscow, Khabarovsk, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and Vladivostok.

  ITELMEN HOLIDAY "ALHALALALAY" IN KAMCHATKA

Alhalalalay "Alhalalalay" is the ancient Itelmen holiday. This holiday is a thanksgiving day to nature, associated with the end of summer and autumn activities. Celebrations, concerts, and performances will be held in native villages.The culmination of the event is a dance marathon of Kamchatka's indigenous people. In 2013 it lasted for 16 hours and 30 minutes! This truly exciting show has been attended annually by Kamchatka residents, and visitors from other regions of Russia and foreign countries.

ANOTHER REASON TO CELEBRATE
Nobody's River

The journey planned is rarely the journey taken. The Nobody's River expedition team had no idea how true this would be as they prepared to leave for a two-month expedition in Mongolia and Russia. Today, the team released the trailer to their film that documents their journey along the Amur River, one of the few remaining free-flowing rivers of the world. From their hilarious antics to deeply human struggles, these ladies shine a light on the soul of internal and external exploration-and show us that no matter what, there is always a reason to celebrate.
