Member RFD up for discussion at Municipal Leaders’ Caucus

Members will have the chance to discuss and vote on a Request for Decision (RFD) regarding a tax credit for Citizens on Patrol similar to that already given to volunteer fire fighters and search and rescue volunteers during next week’s Municipal Leaders’ Caucus.

Land Use Planning Hub launching in June

A new resource is launching this month for planners and municipal staff involved with Alberta’s regional plans: the Land Use Planning Hub. The Hub is an informal network that supports the implementation of Alberta’s regional plans by sharing information, stories and feedback.   
Apply now for the Alberta Municipal Solar Program

The Alberta Municipal Solar Program (AMSP) offered by the Municipal Climate Change Action Centre provides financial incentives to Alberta municipalities who install grid-connected solar photovoltaics (PV) on municipal facilities or land and complete public engagement for the project.

AUMA is offering an additional session of our highly-successful Asset Management for Municipal Staff: The Technical Basics course. Since our Leduc course, many members have asked for another offering in the capital region, and we are happy to meet that demand. Join us June 27-28 at the Clarion Hotel in Sherwood Park .
