AUMA and RMA co-presented the second session of the 2021 President’s Summit on Policing on February 17, 2021. This session focused on the feasibility of establishing a provincial police service.

The Ministry of Municipal Affairs has launched the Minister’s Awards for Municipal Excellence, with a deadline for submissions of March 31, 2021. More information on the awards and how to apply can be found on the Ministry’s website. AUMA is a proud partner in delivering this awards program, and AUMA members are encouraged to apply.
Application deadline approaching to hire your municipal energy manager for two years
Reduce energy, save money, and grow capacity in your municipality. Hire an energy manager by April 30, 2021 through the Municipal Energy Manager program and receive up to $160,000 to help cover their salary for two years. You can hire an energy manager after this deadline, but you will only be eligible for funding for one year.
