Action on Smoking & Health (ASH), Western Canada’s leading tobacco control organization, is hosting a free workshop to assist municipalities with the development of local smoking and vaping bylaws. The workshop follows AUMA’s Spring Municipal Leaders’ Caucus and will be held next door to the caucus venue.

Four of Alberta's major regulators are offering a free noon-hour webinar about municipal permitting on March 11. The province-wide webinar is titled Compliance: Practice Perspectives in Alberta's Building, Design and Construction Industry . Senior officials from Alberta Association of Architects, Alberta Municipal Affairs, the City of Calgary and the City of Edmonton will all make mini-presentations and solicit questions .
