Alberta Environment and Parks has published a guidance document for flushing water systems. The guide is for both building, and business operators who operate within buildings that have been affected by low or zero occupancy and have had reduced water flow during the COVID-19 pandemic.

AUMA has long advocated for expanding the electronics recycling program because it will create local jobs, protect the environment, and provide recycling services that are needed by all Albertans.
Applications are now open for grants of up to $50,000 toward initiatives that enable your community to make informed decisions about operating, maintaining and replacing its infrastructure.
The deadline for municipalities to submit a practice for the 2020 Minister’s Awards for Municipal Excellence has been extended to May 31. This year’s program has been changed to include new award categories, whose topics include economic strength, community safety, innovation, and smaller municipalities.

RhPAP’s Community Health Provider Attraction and Retention Conference is scheduled to take place in Drayton Valley on October 6-8. The theme for this event will be “Put on your Perspectacles: Looking through the rural lens” and will focus on issues related to rural health provider attraction and retention.
