From all of us on the AURP Team, our hope is that you, your families, communities, and tenants are well.
I am so proud of our AURP members and tenants contributing positively to overcome the challenges of the novel coronavirus pandemic. Our member communities are developing prototypes for medical equipment such as masks, shields, and ventilators, manufacturing hand sanitizer, quick and self-diagnostic tools relieving pressure on our medical teams, and creating new virtual communities bringing together entrepreneurs, investors, academia, government agencies, corporations, and students for partnerships never dreamed of in the past.
AURP continues to be your "go-to" resource for best practices in these challenges times and provides a network to share, including partnership opportunities to connect via:
- E-List
- Peer to Peer (P2P) weekly networking calls (Wednesday's at 2pm Eastern) - new recordings available; today included a robust call led by Allison Madden, University of South Florida Research Park, and Laura Frerichs, University of Illinois Research Park
- Communicators Check-In for communications/business development/PR teams (starting up on Thursday, April 16th at 2pm Eastern) REGISTER
- Circles - bulletin board discussion groups allowing members to continue online communications with their peers (See Member Hacks below)
- CEO Blog (AURP Quick Links)
- COVID-19 Resource page
- Check out AURP to connect through all of these resources
I have personally spoken with many of our members and these are tough days managing your parks and facilities with skeletal teams, developing new policy for operations, while maintaining your position as the cheerleader for innovation. We will overcome together, building and supporting one another.
Our AURP network is resilient, strong, and will remain the Community of Innovation.
