The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) announces the 2019 Growth Accelerator Fund Competition, opens June 10 - 20, to recognize the nation's most innovative accelerators and award them cash prizes they may use to fund their operations costs focused towards helping entrepreneurs apply for government R&D funding.
In April 2019, Arizona State University broke ground on the first building that will be part of the new Health Futures Centers.

Mayo Clinic and Arizona State University Alliance for Health Care have partnered up to transform medical education, accelerate research discoveries and improve health care innovation within the community.

This collaborative partnership will combine various programs from ASU and Mayo Clinic and the building representing the commitment to future innovation. The Health Futures Center is set to open late 2020.

Joe Meredith, President and CEO of Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center since 1993, was honored last week with the Alumni Distinguished Service Award for his contributions to the success and transformation of the university. VTCRC was named the AURP Outstanding Research Park Award recipient in 2010.
