A Recap on Our Insight into
French Research Parks
Host & Platinum Sponsor
Host University
Thank you to our host and platinum sponsor - GENOPOLE - France’s largest and oldest biocluster, for developing a content rich schedule and exposing the attendees to some of Paris’ best kept secrets: a wonderful line-up of meetings with GENOPOLE and its companies and an introductory day with the Université Paris-Saclay project team and startups.

Our GENOPOLE hosts, Jean-Marc Grognet, CEO, and Denis Gauvreau, AURP Board Member and VP of International Affairs, exceeded all expectations both educationally and culturally.

This deep-dive I2RP model provides an intimate window into many of the parks, innovation districts, and clusters that we revere in our industry. With so many lessons learned for our own parks - implementation and partnership opportunities - AURP looks forward to networking with you at a future Insights into Research Parks gathering.

NIST Request for Information
AURP Needs Your Input

With NIST's recent RFI on strategies to improve tech transfer in the United States, AURP is interested in your feedback on the current state of  federal technology transfer  and the public's ability to engage with federal laboratories and access federal funded R&D through collaborations, licensing, and other mechanisms.

The AURP Government Relations Committee  will be making a formal submission and are requesting your contributions to our collective voice.

By July 16th, we request our AURP members to respond to the following questions:
  1. What are other ways to significantly improve the transfer of technology, knowledge and capabilities resulting from federal R&D to benefit U.S. innovation and the economy?
  2. What changes would these proposed improvements require to federal technology transfer practices, policies, regulations, and legislation?

Please submit your response to any of the following members of the
AURP Government Relations Committee. Thank you or your input!
